Continental Airlines Cycling Classic

A BP MS150 Recommended Ride

Ride Information

Here is some information and tips to make your ride safe and enjoyable.

  • There is a "Hell’s Gate” at the turn for the 67 mile route.  If you are planning to ride the 67 mile route, you will need to be through the turn from FM1486 onto FM2819 by 10:30 AM.  This is 19.3 miles into the route.  While we regret having to do this, we must respect the time of the over 200 volunteers that will make this ride possible.
  • Rest Stops 1 and 2 are only 3 miles apart.  We recommend that 67 milers bypass Rest Stop 1 and go straight to Rest Stop 2.  Accordingly, 47 milers should stop at Rest Stop 1 and bypass Rest Stop 2.  This will even out the distance between rest stops.
  • Helmets are required
  • No Headphones allowed
  • We ride Rain or Shine
  • Registrations fees are non-refundable
